Zero Tolerance Anti-Spam Policy

The following paragraphs describe the Zero

Tolerance Anti-Spam Policy for our website which is both owned and operated by Catherine Ford.

What Is Spam?

Spam is any email you didn’t give your permission for. Sometimes it is called junk mail which arrives via email, or Unsolicited Commercial Email. Virtually all of us have opened the inbox of our email account and found emails from someone we have no idea who they are. We have a zero tolerance for this practise. We follow accepted permission based emails. In other words we only send you an email after you have requested something from one of our pages.

The Laws Against Spam aren’t always enforced?

Spam laws exist. However, as with any group of laws, across individual States in the US spam statutes vary considerably. The spam laws of each State have different definitions of unsolicited commercial email. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) also looks at spam. The CAN-SPAM Act (20030 attempt a clearer unified approach to unsolicited commercial emails. As these spam laws are not cohesive it is very difficult to enforce them, often they have been written as a knee jerk reaction by politicians who don’t understand the Internet. So the best thing you can do to protect yourself is not to give your email address to anyone that does not adhere to permission based best practises.

My No Tolerance Anti-Spam Policy

WE HAVE A NO TOLERANCE SPAM POLICY. We do not email unless someone has completed an “opt in” form or a contact “webform”. This means you have expressly shown an interest in our information or products and/or services, or otherwise directly and proactively requesting information. We do not want to sell, or give away your data, we will protect it. Email marketing is about building relationships, and we aim to build a trusting relationship with our readers’ who may unsubscribe at any time. When this happens all your data is deleted from our email base. You are always completely in control when it comes to receiving emails.

NOTE – Every auto-generated email contains a mandatory unsubscribe link that cannot be removed. Therefore, each communication carries with it the option to “unsubscribe” and never receive another email communication from
